It's Monday! What Are You Reading? (January 22): 01/22/18
All in all it was a quiet week. The only excitement was being able to pick up a painting I first inquired about in October. "Destination Unknown" was part of a series of road landscapes done in oil by a local artist named Nicole Leming. Her art was on display at the library. What I read:

Comment #2: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:21:00 Pussreboots I agree on both points. Comment #3: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 10:41:34 Kathy Martin Nice variety of books. I sort of miss reading middle grade books these days but I seldom get offered them for review and have enough to read that I haven't visited my local public library yet. Come see my week here. Happy reading! Comment #4: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:23:00 Pussreboots I stopped accepting ARCs and eGalleys for review. That freed up my reading for things I wanted to read when I wanted to read them. A lot of what I'm reading now are Cybils books that I'm re-reading for fun. Comment #5: Monday, January, 22, 2018 at 11:04:53 I love the art! Enjoy your week and your books. I'm curious about Winterhouse. Here are My weekly updates Comment #6: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:25:00 Pussreboots I included a review of Winterhouse in this week's post. Comment #7: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 13:28:58 Nice piece of art, nothing nicer than having a piece of art that speaks to you on your wall. Comment #8: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:27:00 Pussreboots It was a nice find and at an opportune time. Comment #9: Monday, January, 22, 2018 at 13:55:24 Nice art! I like that one. It's always a great feeling to pick up a piece of artwork that you like, especially if it's one that you've wanted for a while or one that really speaks to you. Hope you like A Darkness Absolute! I enjoyed that one. Comment #10: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:29:00 Pussreboots I would like to support other local artists. Before in the condo we just hung our own artwork: my acrylics or photographs, my husband's mathematical art, or whatever our kids had done. But now we have enough room for a greater variety. Comment #11: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 18:08:38 Oh wow, that is a WHOLE LOT of reading. Lots of graphic novels, too! I really am looking forward to sinking my teeth into Locke and Key soonest. Comment #12: Monday, January 22, 2018 at 20:32:00 Pussreboots I read two graphic novels and reviewed two. I've only read half of Locke & Key. Comment #14: Monday, January, 22 2018 at 20:38:00 Pussreboots I am. I am hoping to finish it this week but I have some library books that are due soon; they have to come first.
