I just love covers of cozy mysteries. :-)
I'll look for your thoughts on several of these.
Happy Reading (and selling)!

Since I've been reading so many cozies, I'm now devoting Wednesdays to posting mystery reviews.

Yay for getting the house on the market. I have Zeroes on my list, but haven't gotten to it yet. I really liked Painted Queen on audio. HOpe you do too.

It's almost on the market. It's there for potential interested buyers to know about but it won't go fully on the market until this coming weekend. I am about a quarter of the way through Painted Queen and I am enjoying it.

Interesting books! And congrats on moving things along on your sale of the house.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and have a great week.

I got an ebook of The Painted Queen but need to read some review books before I have a place for it on my calendar. Come see my week here. Happy reading!

I have a bunch of books that are coming due while we're on vacation (in two weeks!) Those are my only deadlines for reading.

Sounds like things are going well with getting the house ready to sell. How was Fifteen Dogs? I've seen it on quite a few blogs but I haven't picked it up yet.

I liked the concept of Fifteen Dogs but found the execution of it a bit dry. It's sort of a mixture of I Thought You Were Dead and Plague Dogs.

Good luck with your house sale!

Cozies are a genre I've recently started reading, and some of the ones you've listed sound interesting. Will add them to my TBR. Hope you enjoy them!

Cozies are good especially in times when you want a bit of a puzzle but don't want to commit to a long or deep book. Right now since I've been reading so many, I'm featuring a mystery review each Wednesday.

Good luck on the move! Hopefully you'll have a quick sale!

I hope so too. There's a house on the market near us that we're really interested in. It's been on the market for as long as we've been trying to get our place ready. I hope it's there long enough so we can see it in person.

Sarah, how do you do it? So many books and reviews in a week and you're in the process of moving/selling a house. I want your energy! Have a great week.

I have many books going at one time. The three I post as "currently reading" each week are the three I am closest to finishing or am otherwise most focused on. Some weeks a bunch of the books I've been slowly reading for weeks all finish in the course of a few days of each other (as happened this week with Race to the Bottom of the Sea and Giant Trouble and Poison Kiss. We're at the stage in the move where we're mostly waiting on vendors. Since there's literally nothing in my old place, I spend my time sitting by the phone or in my car, reading, while I wait. I write reviews at night while my husband watches TV. I have about four months worth of reviews written and planned out. Of course I change them up as I read new things but I do have these prewritten posts to fall back on when there are nights when I just don't want to do much with the blog but still want to get new content on it.

My son recommended Zeroes to me but I found the set up a bit slow. There are tons of really short chapters and multiple points of view. I probably would have liked it better if I hadn't had a migraine when I finished it. Painted Queen I'm about a third of the way through and I'm really enjoying it.
